Farewell!

With the end of the semester looming near, so comes the end of my time here at Horse&Rider.? It feels as though it was just yesterday that I walked in the front doors, and met everyone for the first time. After three short months, I feel like I have really become a part of the team, and it is never easy to leave new friends.

I am very happy to say that the time I spent here has been absolutely fantastic. This was my first internship and with any first experience there was a lot of anxiety about how it would turn out. I did not know if I was going to be a good fit for this job, or whether I would fit in with everyone who works here. Lucky for me, I settled in quickly and got right into the groove of things.

From my first photoshoot, to my first byline in the magazine, this has been a fun-filled experience that I would recommend to anyone looking to learn a lot and to have a good time.

I will be spending the summer in the windy city of Chicago interning at a completely different kind of company. I can only hope that I enjoy my time there as much as I enjoyed it here. That Chicago internship sure has some big boots to fill in my book.

I hope everyone has a fun, horse-filled summer!
