There are six classes in each Versatility Ranch Horse Event. The classes are Ranch Trail, Stock Horse Pleasure, Ranch Cutting, Ranch Reining, Cow Horse, and Conformation. You are not required to show in all six classes. If you want to be considered for the All-around title, you need to show in a class with a cow, a class without a cow, and confirmation. While different classes require different skills, in general horses that are successful at Versatility Ranch Horse Events have a good mind, a balanced body and athletic ability.
